When faced with terms such as "esoteric" and "prosaic," individuals and their families can easily feel overwhelmed by the sheer task of selecting which word lists to focus on, let alone committing them to memory.
VocabDragon simplifies the process of selecting and mastering SSAT vocabulary. By consolidating 25 sets of SSAT words endorsed by leading tutors in Asia into an iOS application equipped with spaced repetition software, this app customizes your learning experience. Through continuous study, the app identifies the words that challenge you the most, ensuring they receive priority. The quiz feature lets you evaluate your progress with instantly generated multiple-choice exams.
Each flashcard comprises a term, a succinct definition, its corresponding part of speech, and an illustrative sentence. These definitions are crafted by a distinguished SSAT tutor boasting over 25 years of experience in aiding students to excel in the SSAT exam and secure placements at prestigious boarding schools and private high schools in the United States. The concise definitions harmonize with other SSAT vocabulary words where applicable, ensuring that your memorization process is precise and productive.
The app provides over 400 flashcards at no cost. Additional sets of five word lists are available for a nominal fee through in-app subscription.
